The warriors
Built by Orenstein & Koppel for the German Army in 1918, this engine lies at the Ouro Preto (Minas Gerais State) train station. Trainsurfing at the EMU class 5M2A of the South-African Metrorail at Kempton Park, Gauteng Province. Trainsurfing has become an often fatal fad around Johannesburg and the ultimate macho thing is to ride on the roof, standing upright while dodging catenary poles and keeping clear of the 3,000 volt cable while the train speeds along at between 80 km/h and 100 km/h.
